  • Craft and lead creative, unique strategies for all Marketing teams, including Digital, Advertising, Communications, and Creative
  • Design & lead branding, positioning, and pricing strategies
  • Primary Spokesperson for Analyst & Media Relations
  • Brand & Community Thought Leadership through blogs, speaking engagements, podcasts, vlogs
  • Identify opportunities to reach new market segments and expand market share
  • Ensure the brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts (like events, email campaigns, web pages, and promotional material)
  • Analyze customer behavior, customer journey, and determine customer personas
  • Monitor competition (acquisitions, pricing changes, and new products and features)
  • Coordinate sales and marketing efforts to boost brand awareness and lead generation
  • Set, monitor, and report on team goals
    • (Team Size: 2 Directors, 7 individual contributors)
  • Craft quarterly and annual hiring plans
  • Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly and annual budgets for the Marketing department
  • Participate in the quarterly and annual planning of company objectives


  • Exceptional Leader with 5+ Years Leadership experience as Head of Marketing, Director/VP Marketing in the Tech sector, preferably with a strong background in data storage, open-source, and/or adjacent technologies
  • Analytical, creative mind with a passion for technology
  • Experience running successful Marketing Teams, developing programs from scratch, and creating/running campaigns
  • Excellent speaker, presenter, writer, and communicator 
  • Solid knowledge of web analytics and Google Adwords
  • Experience with HubSpot and SalesForce software (or similar)
  • BS or MS in Marketing or relevant field
