Along with their leadership team, the Senior Director Finance, US Customer Solutions is accountable for budget and policy recommendations that align with divisional go. This role is accountable for Profitably managing and growing the divisional US commercial business.  This position will also establish a long-range plan for the US organization and ensure that annual goals and objectives are met.

This position will be based in Santa Clara, CA.


  • Analyze the organization's revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast it's short, medium, and long-term cash flow position.

  • Establish a long-range plan for the US organization and ensure that annual goals and objectives are met.

  • Coordinate the activities of a variety of different functions to optimize strategic commercial execution:  Customer Service, Commercial Finance, Salesforce Compensation Planning and Tracking, and overall coordination of US commercial analytics.

  • Establish a vision for the organization and ensure strong leaders are in place to build and sustain organizational capability and commercial results.

  • Ensure that systems are in place to enable the business to operate in a legal and ethical manner.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of Division’s US Commercial strategy in coordination with US Coronary and Endovascular Sales leadership.

  • Communicate a vision and plan for the organization that motivates and instills confidence across the US, in our ability to achieve business goals.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, administrators, and other outside institutions that help further the interests of the division and ensure our products and services continue to provide value to the community and our patients.

  • Actively monitor results on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and adjust quickly for contingencies and rapid changes in a dynamic marketplace.

  • Anticipate changes and take corrective actions when necessary to achieve targets.

  • Meet sales and margin commitments to the organization.

  • Develops strategy for strategic solutions, pricing, sales incentive programs, and customer service, to drive results and oversees administration of those plans.

  • Advise senior management, the sales & marketing organizations on financial matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization.

  • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities.

  • Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external consultants and advisors (e.g., tax advisors, accounting firms) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.

  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop financial staff to ensure the organization's accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards.



  • Minimum of 7+ years of financial management experience

  • Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Finance.  CPA or Chartered Accountant


  • MBA preferred
