Position Summary

Provide sales/administrative support to Senior Sales Representatives, Trading Managers and General Manager.

Principle Accountabilities

  • Work closely with Sales Representatives and Sales leadership to develop specific marketing strategies to generate sales leads, industry growth and identify the best way to represent Smith to established clients.
  • Research potential clients to verify viability, product use, contact information and promote company brand to target markets.
  • Heavy cold calling and prospecting of customers to advertise the value-added services Smith offers.
  • Promote the company’s presence on key social media platforms.
  • Assist with lead generation initiatives; trade shows, website, advertising, mass customer correspondence and other marketing channels.
  • Enter and maintain customer profiles into Smith’s internal sales database.
  • Maintain and update internal reports for Sales Team.
  • Provide support on administrative tasks.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in International Trade, Business Administration, Marketing or related field preferred
  • CRM experience preferred
  • Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Prior sales support experience preferred
  • Tech Savvy
