Job Details

As the Product Designer, you’ll serve as a key member for the product team, portfolio roadmap, and customer advocate to deliver the best-in-class therapy solutions. You’ll be a part of a dynamic and fast-paced Agile Product Organization and serve as key member in research and design. You’ll work with the R&D team, serve as a sponsor for strategic initiatives, consult across the portfolio, and work directly with product management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of roadmap priorities.

You will be directly responsible for the delivery of high quality, thoughtful design solutions including presentation of design solutions, coordinating relevant user research, and final delivery of specifications to engineering. This role also provides the opportunity to have hands-on involvement in the design of products that are most critical to the business.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS POSITION0

  • Partner with product leaders to set strategic priorities, define team goals, and ensure commitments are delivered on time and the solution designs are effective and easy to use experiences
  • Inspire and embrace challenges and new ways of thinking
  • Present design project status, decisions, and processes openly, clearly, and confidently, regardless of the audience
  • Participate in strategic and conceptual brainstorms
  • Participate in developing design systems
  • Increase the impact of the Product Design team, by advocating for the user and driving a user-centric product development process
  • Actively improve the products with new ideas
  • Interpret customer and user research findings, and designs effective and easy to use experiences
  • Advocate and represent the customer in product and platform development
  • Design elegant solutions to complex workflows
  • Create, evaluate and modify documentation and prototypes to support evolving software application development
  • Translate research, feedback, metrics, and acceptance criteria into great experiences for our customers
  • Create wireframes, mockups, user flows, prototypes, process flows, design requirements and site maps to effectively communicate user interaction and design concept when serving as a design sponsor
  • Partner and work alongside product engineers to ensure the UX is implemented according to specs to promote intuitive and engaging product design
  • Participate and guide user validation of new solutions with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Continuously iterate on the product experience based on user feedback
  • Invent and re-use scalable, common design patterns into our Design Systems
  • Development and management of KPIs and design roadmaps
  • Keep abreast of design, accessibility, and user research best practices and trends

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED FOR THIS POSITION

  • 2 to 5 years of experience as a UX/UI designer
  • 1+ year’s experience with technology in healthcare
  • Strong portfolio of design projects/wireframes/interactions/workflows/research

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present and articulate complex business and software design requirements in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences
  • A diverse portfolio (including B2B & B2C projects), across web and mobile, that reflect critical thinking and design excellence
  • Comfort in a fast-paced, highly-dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Works well with other team disciplines and is able to encourage teams to adopt product design solutions, but also can adapt designs to time and feasibility constraints
  • Applies the basics of visual design principles in their design work such as visual hierarchy, proximity, similarity, font selection, and color theory
  • Proficient in the understanding of visual, layout, and content accessibility guidelines in design work
  • Proficient in design software and the Adobe Creative Suite tools (e.g. Invision, Adobe Illustrator, Maze, Sketch, etc.)
  • Understanding of HTML/CSS; JavaScript is a plus
  • Problem-solving aptitude
  • Embrace and encourage diverse perspectives to inspire product thinking
  • Exceptional business acumen
  • Knowledge of revenue cycle management, medical practice management, or behavioral analysis is a plus
