Classification: Quality Assurance Analyst
Our Fortune 500 Bay Area Client is seeking a Marketing Quality Assurance Analyst I who will define quality standards for Web, Email, SMS/Push notification products to ensure that we are serving users a product that meets their needs. Create and execute test plans and use cases to ensure our products meet our quality standards and fulfill the business requirements. Triage problems that are found in production and ticket the issues. Work across multiple internal teams to ensure smooth launches of new features and updates to our platforms.
Specific responsibilities include:
Execute Test Cases and Perform Validation Tasks
-Execute simple test cases; record results.
-Work with MarTech's Enablement Team to verify Marketing Cloud styling and content (emails)
-Assist in release verification by following test cases given by senior members of the team.
Maintain Test Cases and Test Environment
-Update manual/automated test cases as needed.
-Work with discovery team to gather new test data/customer profiles.
-Create and maintain user data for non-technical stakeholders to assist with business validation.
Participate in Meetings and Prepare Reports
-Actively participate in meetings with various stakeholders.
-Provide real-time updates to projects they are assigned.
-Prepare daily/weekly progress reports for the team (test coverage, sprint progress etc.)
Triage and verify reported issues with the product.
-Verify issues raised by customers/stakeholders.
-Find steps to reproduce (including preconditions and user details) and create ticket(s) to get issue documented.
-Alert senior members of the team if we have an influx of error reports around release time.
Identify Areas for improvements in existing process.
-Accurately log time spent on resolving issues and performing daily tasks.
-Look for ways to make manual testing move faster and talk with team on how to implement.
