We are looking for a Manager, Asset Management Group to join our team in one of today’s most exciting technologies. This role will report to Sr. Manager, PPA Operations and will be based in CA, San Jose.
Role and Responsibilities:
Monitor performance of fuel cells and generate daily/monthly/quarterly fleet performance report for management and external stakeholders; Track warranty/guarantee in a structured and scalable manner and process claims with proper supporting documentation as needed.
Review performance reports, investigate issues and take initiatives to improve operational performance of the projects.
Manage all project contracts to ensure compliance and delivery schedules and assist in setting up processes for contract management and reporting.
Work closely with Accounting and Finance to ensure the accuracy and completeness of project financials; assist in auditing requests.
Develop financial operating models for management of contracted obligations and cash flow
Develop and manage project annual budget, quarterly forecast and variance analysis.
Prepare investor reports, conduct investor meetings, resolve any issues or questions and overall manage a good working relationship with key stakeholders and partners including but not limited to equity investors, financing counterparties, incentive program managers, regulatory officers, customers, vendors, etc.
Support due diligence, funding and on-boarding of new assets.
Manage internal cross-functional communications with sales, marketing, business development, corporate finance, field services and installations e.g. coordinate with Legal and Project Finance team on contract amendment as needed.
Drive process improvement opportunities for standardization and optimization.
Conduct analyses and prepare various ad-hoc reports.
Education, Skills and Experience:
5-7 years of experience in a senior business analyst or technical role building and maintaining complex financial models. A degree in finance, business, engineering, or science from top college or university. MBA preferred.
Outstanding analytical skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Financial forecasting and modeling experience
Expert level proficiency in using Microsoft Excel in addition to working level knowledge of other MS Office products like Word and PowerPoint.
Solid communication skills required. Must be able to articulate and communicate complex data information or issues to management team, external stakeholders, and internal team members.
Comfortable managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, preparing high quality reports, and the ability to effectively manage stress and engage in continuous learning.
Responsible, reliable, proactive, and independent; able to help management achieve goals with limited resources and strict deadlines.
Experience working with contracts, able to convert contractual language into deliverables.
Fun to work with, quick to laugh, willingness to take calculated risks, and a creative problem solver with a “can-do / get it done” approach to work.
