*HYBRID HR GENERALIST NEEDED ASAP FOR LARGE, WELL KNOWN TECH COMPANY IN SUNNYVALE, CA - please do not apply if you do not have previous extensive HR experience or HR Generalist experience **HR Generalist (Hybrid role) - 1 to 2 times onsite per week **Sunnyvale, CA**Industry: Tech (Well-known company) **9-month contract – maternity leave back up, but still possibility of conversion based on performance *Working directly with HR Business Partner Supporting 1000 employees The HR Generalist II will act as an influential partner in helping managers with talent management processes, performance management, people development, and implementation of organizational changes. Thanks to their visibility across businesses and their access to data on managers and employees’ requests, Generalists are in a position to spot trends, identify emerging needs, and address them with innovative people programs, tools and processes.On critical cases (high risk, exposure, alarming trend, higher level management involved) the Generalists applies sound judgment when toinform and involve the HRBP. Below is not an exhaustive list of all work Generalists are responsible for, Generalists should apply a good judgment, ownership andcollaboration when requests for support are made. *Key job responsibilities:*HRIS Experience ***Extracting data from Excel as needed ***Be able to answer front line questions about things like maternity leave, leave-of-absence, etc. ***Data Reporting for entire organization ***Performance ManagementManage the end to end process of performance management (including all Focus and Pivot cases)Provide expert guidance and support to managers who have identified low performance to ensure employees are managed fairly and effectivelyAnalyze data and trends on performance management, in order to provide input to the business or HRBP, preventing the recurrence of known issues*Policies and Practices*Review and consult with legal on local policies and processes in order to ensure that they are fit for purposeConsult managers on people matters that require in depth knowledge of policies, procedures and local legislationPartner with HR Services (HRS) to ensure that people transactions are processed timely and processes are continuously reviewed, improved and streamlinedAnalyze data and observations across the region/country/site, highlighting trends and recommending/driving solutions, as appropriate Talent ManagementCoach, train and guide managers during the annual talent management processSupport managers and employees in identifying training opportunities to further develop functional and managerial skillsEmployee RelationsConsult with the ER and Legal departments and HRBP where needed (cases of high risk, or where outcome may be dismissal)Onboarding / Off Boarding / Site Management*BASIC QUALIFICATIONS*Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field is preferred.Candidate should have at least 4 years of industry experience with broad knowledge and experience in human resource management.
