About the Role

You will be responsible for all financial and administration services for the company, providing leadership for the finance and admin team, and participate as a key member of the executive staff. You will lead our financial and strategic planning efforts, provide support to other team leaders, and contribute to the organization's move to the next level.

Financial Duties and Responsibilities

• Motivate, supervise and lead finance team members

• Ensure our financial integrity and accountability and maintain internal controls

• Oversee timely monthly, quarterly and yearly management financial reports in compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles

• Oversee outside audit and review activities

• Coordinate with executive staff to create, update and manage our annual budget

• Provide guidance to executive staff on strategic business directions through financial planning, analysis, forecasting, developing scenarios to inform decision making and advising on key directions

• Participate in corporate policy development as member of the senior management team

• Ensure maintenance of appropriate internal controls, financial systems and procedures, with an eye toward financial risk assessment

Administrative Duties and Responsibilities

• Motivate, supervise and lead admin team members

• Oversee employee success function, including recruiting and hiring, benefits administration, employee onboarding communication and retention, in conjunction with executive staff and employee success manager

• Oversee corporate risk management and legal activities, coordinating with outside providers to determine appropriate procedures and coverages, review contracts, leases, and other legal documents and agreements

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations

• Manage and oversee our information systems and technology strategies, working with the internal IT administrator and third-party outsourced vendors

Necessary Skills

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• Manufacturing or construction background preferred

• Excellent communication skills both written and orally

• Familiar with revenue and expense laws in multiple states

• Strong knowledge in financial modeling, forecasting and advanced Excel usage

• Computer literate, comfortable with Office suite products

• Enjoy being part of a team, but also feel comfortable working on your own and taking initiative

• Ability to run effective meetings and facilitate group discussions, to lead decision-making processes

• Other tasks or projects as assigned
