Sr Experience Designer

THE OPPORTUNITY is seeking a forward-thinking Sr. Experience Designer to join the Cross-Cloud Platform design team. WHAT YOU'LL BE WORKING ON As a key design member and thought-leader on this team:

• Evolve the Cross-Cloud Platform design system by designing, iterating on, and unifying UI components across our surfaces WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Simplify. Seek and design ‘simple’ experiences and interactions that influence our growing portfolio of creative, collaboration, and administrative tools.

• Collaborate. You will work closely with other designers, and engage with multiple project stakeholders, including product managers, engineers, and other designers.

• Influence. You will articulate the need and proposed solutions through sketches, storyboards, hi-fidelity mockups, prototypes, or animations across all levels of the organization.

• Lead. You’ll inspire teammates, forge relationships across disciplines and lead with design thinking.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM

Must haves:

• A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of success

• Experience (and a love of!) solving complex design and technology problems using systems thinking

• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate a multi-level problem space and strategy behind design decisions

• Creative and analytical skills to advocate for and support research, synthesize, and communicate insights that encourage design opportunities and product strategy

• Passion for understanding how creative people do what they do and how technology plays a role in the creative process

• Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills

• A history building and shipping software

• Proven in fundamental visual and interaction design principles

• Clean and elegant design aesthetic with a strong eye for layout, color, and typography

• Strong prototyping skills, and the ability to find the right balance of fidelity vs. speed to effectively convey key concepts

• Ability to communicate design strategy and ideas persuasively and concisely to all functions of the organization, including executives

• Ability to grasp the essence of complex design problems and user pain points, and translate them to practical design solutions

• Creative and analytical skills to facilitate research, synthesize and communicate findings into insights and opportunity areas that inform and inspire design
