How Will You Make a Difference?

  • Responsible for a wide range of administrative and procedural duties relating to the initial phases of filing patent applications, through the completion of the patent prosecution process, including maintenance of electronic files.
  • Prepare documents related to various phases of U.S. and Foreign patent prosecution, including but not limited to; information disclosure statements; formal documents, office action response shells and notice of allowance due diligence.
  • Maintain and manage a prosecution docket; follow up on items to ensure due dates and deadlines are met.
  • Meet billable goal as established by practice management.

What Will You Bring to the Table?

  • Paralegal Certificate of completion from an ABA (American Bar Association) course of study and/or a four year degree from an accredited college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in legal support services preferred.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, problem-solving, and organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Proactive, energetic, upbeat, positive attitude.
