Job Details
Responsible for the following tasks
Contract Management;
Corporate entity governance and maintenance (international exposure preferred), including, entity formation, annual filings, and maintaining the company’s corporate record books;
Assisting with maintaining the company’s IP maintenance, including reviewing the company’s trademark renewals and assisting with renewals and filings (internationally);
Assisting on mergers and acquisitions, including deal checklists, form document creation, and post-closing items;
Assisting with implementing, tracking, and auditing company compliance training;
Assisting with managing legal invoices and sending subpoenas to outside counsel; and
Assisting the legal team in other related areas of need.
Qualifications
Position Qualifications, Knowledge/Experience
4+ years of professional paralegal experience
Experience in contract management
Trademark Maintenance Exposure And Experience Preferred
Corporate entity governance and maintenance experience required
Skills And Abilities
Successfully maintain a database of legal documents and corporate entity maintenance and record books;
Excellent communication skills with internal and external customers;
Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines;
Self-assured and confident in a variety of settings;
Demonstrated ability to handle long-term and/or complex legal projects with significant financial or another business impact; and
Strong business acumen as well as superior analytical and writing skills.
Education
Minimum Paralegal Certificate Or Equivalent Work Experience Required
