Description

As an Instructional Designer, you will create and maintain a broad set of content. You will develop new objectives and assessments, and rewrite and reshape existing content. You’ll work closely with subject-matter experts, peer instructional designers, and other external partners as you analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate, and maintain engaging and effective learning experiences for your colleagues.

Additional responsibilities of the role will include:

  •  Using a content-development framework to create engaging and effective learning content (e.g., courses, presentations, videos, one-pagers, hands-on activities, assignments, etc.)
  • Performing the research and needs analysis required in the development of content
  • Designing learning experiences to support a variety of modalities (e.g., self-paced online training, virtual classroom training, in-person classroom training, or a blend thereof)
  • Managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while delivering high-quality work on time
  • Evaluating feedback and prioritizing updates to improve experiences for future learners
  • Applying a blended approach to training and curriculum development that incorporates adult-learning principles and microlearning with effective use of available resources
  • Identifying detailed learning objectives based on business drivers and performance goals; mapping course content and learning activities to appropriate learning objectives
