Description

Pride Health is hiring a Healthcare Compliance Analyst to support our client’s healthcare system in San Jose, CA. This is a contract opportunity with possibility for contract extensions or permanent hire based on performance and company need.

Duties: 

  • Submits applications and other required documents on behalf of the organization for facility licensure and certification.  
  • Obtains necessary approvals from upper management by revising relevant federal and state forms and other documentation required for healthcare facility licensure and certification.  
  • Keeps other departments updated on regulatory requirements, documentation processes, and regulatory filling information related to the licensing and certification of facilities  
  • Writes and communicates guidelines, to include policies and procedures, to relay regulatory information to various employees on licensing and certification requirements.  
  • Maintains a good relationship with regulators and regulatory bodies by developing and arranging continuing contacts and resolving concerns in a timely manner.  
  • Maintains an accurate database of licensing and certification data for all facilities.  
  • Prepares compliance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.  
  • Researches laws, rules, and regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins, federal and State updates, news briefs, and other sources of information.  

Qualifications:    

  • 3 years of Healthcare Complianc experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care or Business Administration preferred.  
  • Compliance or HIPAA certifications preferred.
