Company is seeking a Head of SMB Marketing, US for our NA Economic Team within Global Business Marketing. The NA Economic Team is the leader in marketing to the millions of small businesses who are on our platform. As the Head of the most influential region, you’ll manage an incredibly agile and productive team responsible for empowering SMBs through training, tools, and resources; fostering advocacy amongst small businesses; creating brand programs and marketing initiatives that drive awareness and consideration of Company tools and resources. You’ll build our overall NA go-to-market plan including campaigns, influencer programs, training, virtual in-market activations, and policy-led programs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners and then including small business marketing, brand management, creative, public policy, product, legal, communications, and consumer marketing to ensure we’re telling our economic impact story cohesively across audiences and programs. You’ll also partner closely with other regional business marketing teams around the world by sharing insights, best practices, assets, and program results. The ideal candidate will be a strategic, creative, and operationally-savvy brand marketer who can move fast and possesses a demonstrated ability to build successful marketing programs by leading high performing teams and influencing stakeholders. They’ll also possess strong communication skills, a passion for Company, and an understanding of how Company enables economic impact through our apps & services.

Head of SMB Marketing, US Responsibilities

  • Accountable for our overall NA Economic Impact strategy and plan
  • Manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders, inputs and teams
  • Manage a high performing and highly visible FTE and Contingent team to deliver on goals
  • Create integrated marketing programs which highlight Company’s economic impact
  • Create operational frameworks and secure resources to support a fast-moving organization
  • Act as a brand steward to our small business audience
  • Work with cross-functional partners to scale our Economic Impact work into other parts of the organization
  • Work with internal teams to reach diverse audiences and support diversity marketing programs
  • Foster an inclusive and open team
  • Contribute to the broader NA Marketing strategy
  • Develop narratives and content to support marketing initiatives
  • Influence, gain alignment and build consensus with high level stakeholders across the company

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of marketing and management experience
  • B2B and Consumer Marketing experience
  • Experience analyzing data and developing actionable insights
  • Experience partnering with executive level stakeholders
  • Influential team leader for highly visible and high stakes program
  • Meticulous communicator amidst executive presence
  • Skilled at navigating complex systems, organizations and programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Company’s business strategy and economic impact story
  • Experience with B2B Marketing for small businesses
  • Experience in influencer programs and community management
  • Experience with training
  • SMB marketing experience
