Assembling election supplies
Processing of Vote by Mail ballots
Operating ballot processing equipment
Updating voter registration records based on information from statewide voter registration database and other governmental agencies
Prepares, verifies, and processes provisional ballots including a review of challenged ballots
Prepares, verifies, and processes petitions, including nominations, initiatives and recall petitions. Performs second-level petition verifications
QUALIFICATIONS Ideal clerical support and customer service candidates will have a minimum of one year of general clerical, office assistant, phone services, or computer experience.
Outreach services candidates will have strong public speaking abilities and are bilingual in at least one of the above listed languages.
Voting equipment candidates will be able to lift and carry materials weighing more than 50 pounds and must use personal vehicles to service Vote Centers.
ADDITIONAL DETAILS Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. These positions may require weekend and evening work assignments.
