POSITION SUMMARY: This position establishes, plans, and administers the overall policies and goals for the information technology department in a Community Health Clinic environment. Assess the needs of different departments and determine ways to meet business objectives by modifying existing or developing new information processing systems. This position is familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Assist with maintaining the annual Security Risk Assessment and remediation plan.
Monitors team performance, mentor team leaders and develop Help Desk and IS Support teams capable of supporting the health clinic's goals and objectives.
Responsible for Core Business Applications implementation and upgrades. Oversees project schedules and project resources, ensuring the minimal impact to productivity
Develops the Information Technology management plan in support of the health clinic's strategic plan
Develops and implements the Information Systems policies and procedures in compliance with state and federal regulations such as HITECH and HIPAA.
Responsible for overseeing end-user IT experience and Help Desk support.
Responsible for security and privacy of Core Business Systems and regularly review and audit appropriate access levels of Core Business Systems..
